“The Actors Prepare” is a ten-minute documentary that follows the actors in a theatre company during their pre-show preparations over the course of several performances. Featuring the cast of Trojan Women 2.0, written by Charles Mee and directed by Lauren Reinhard for the Milk Can Theatre Company, we are privileged to sneak a peek at the mental, vocal, and physical routines by which the actors prepare before walking on stage each night.
You will be surprised at the variety, the oddity, the humor, and even the contemplative relevance of these actors' preparations of and perspectives on their craft.
